Insect Eggs

Mystery eggs! I found these eggs, laid by an unknown insect, on a tree in Istanbul. That particular tree was crowded with Pentatomid "stink bugs" all summer long, so I wouldn't be surprised if these eggs belonged to those insects.

Signs of the Times

Go West: Channel bags, fake blondes and Starbucks on the perpetually busy Istiklal Avenue, which has seen an inordinate amount of gentrification in the past five years.
