Plagiarised!

The sincerest form of flattery? A small but nevertheless annoying incident of plagiarism struck this blog last month. Remember this picture? I'd posted it over a year ago.

Now take a look at this link, or the screen shot above. A certain local low-end city guide/news portal eKolay.net, apparently thought it would go unnoticed when they blatantly stole my photo from this blog.

As a part of the Turkish Dogan media conglomerate, eKolay net must be raking it in from the thousands of ads it receives on its pages every day. So, even if only in a small way, my stolen photo has helped them make money, with no payments or credit due to my name. I mean, I'd have been happy to give it away if whoever wrote this article had just asked me for it. These people, it seems, have no shame.
